Potentilla Happy Face has a dense habit of fine textured dark healthy foliage that is adorned with five petaled blooms from spring all the way through to late summer. It will mature to 2′-3 with a spread of 3′-4′.
Happy Face is an outstanding low-maintenance plant, it is deer resistant and requires little pruning. For best results, prune about a third of the branches to the ground in late winter.
Happy Face should only be grown in full sunlight. It is adaptable to moist or dry locations. It is not particular to soil type or pH levels. This plant excels in urban conditions.
